Check before fitting
Read the product-specific instructions and test-fit the part before removing adhesive liners or modifying anything. Stop if alignment or clearance is wrong.
Adhesive trim
Clean the mounting area with a surface-compatible cleaner and allow it to dry. Avoid applying trim over wax, grease, moisture, or loose finishes.
For products with a 15°C (59°F) minimum application temperature, bring the part and mounting surface to suitable conditions before installation. Follow any higher temperature requirement specified for the supplied adhesive.
Align the part, remove the liner, and apply pressure as directed. Keep the area dry and avoid washing for the period specified for that product. If instructions conflict, contact us before installing.
Other mounting methods
Use the supplied hardware and the instructions for the exact item. Do not guess torque settings or modify mounting points to force a fit.
